Currently, my reserach is motivated by problem 4.5 in Kirby's list, where Casson asks, "Which rational homology 3-spheres bound rational homology 4-balls?" The main tool leveraged here is the property of a lattice being cubiquitous, as developed by Greene-Owens here.
